MATERIAL UNWINDING AND CUT-TO-LENGTH MACHINE CTL-1500 P

Key features:

- Machine designed for rewinding and cutting foams to preset lengths and winding them into rolls without a cardboard core (coreless rewinding).
- Best suited for light, elastic polyurethane and polyethylene foams with thickness of 2-4 mm (0.08-0.16") e.g. used in bandages production.
- The machine consists of an unwinding section with an expanding shaft driven by an induction motor, and a cutting-winding section. Directly after the unwinder there is a pivot-mounted roller with an inclinometer (balancer). The material passes under this roller, which pre-expands and smooths it. The balancer deflection determines the material unwinding speed.
- The material feed system is built from two rubber-coated rollers with a diameter of 130 mm (5.12") - one driven and one pressure roller. These form the main drive of the machine. Just before the drive rollers there is an encoder for foam length measurement. After the rollers there is a transverse cutting module with clamping bars that press the material to the table during cutting. The table is inclined in the direction of material movement, allowing gravity-assisted feed.
- After the cutting unit there is a second balancer with an inclinometer, enabling tension control before winding. The winding system is built around a stainless-steel rod mounted and locked in rotating sockets. The entire module is additionally mounted on a transverse guide, also driven by an induction motor, enabling edge-guided winding.
- After rewinding the preset foam length, the feed rollers and winder stop, and the cutter performs a transverse cut. After finishing the roll, the stainless-steel rod is manually removed from the roll by the operator.
- The machine can be manufactured with other similar parameters on request.
- The control panel is mounted on a special swiveling arm for improved operator comfort.
- The control panel is equipped with a high-quality touchscreen.
- User-friendly interface available in Polish and English (other languages available on request).
